Founded by certified event planner, Anetra Gibbs-Kotey, Chapels & Confetti is a respected up and coming event design firm in the Connecticut & New England areas.

Anetra Gibbs-Kotey is the Owner and Lead Coordinator/Designer at Chapels & Confetti Events and Design LLC.  Anetra is a Native of Charleston, S.C., raised in Bronx, NY and is happy to be a new resident of New Haven, CT for the past 4 years.

With her experience in planning events of all kinds, she’s found that her passion is in Weddings and Children’s events.  To see a bride’s face light up in awe when she walks into her event space, or the look of wonder on a child’s face when he sees his favorite character theme transformed into a party just for him is most rewarding.  What she offers her clients are her keen attention to detail and her amazing vision and creativity.

Anetra is a graduate of NYC Technical College with degrees in Micro-Computer Business Systems (AAS), and Computer Systems Technology (BS), several Certification from various colleges, and a Certification with International Institute of Event Management.
